Streetwear

I created a speculative ad for the clothing company Checks. I created a unique hook, where it started with a ball flying towards the camera, then quickly flashes new clothing pieces. The idea was to use the contrast of the hook and the rest of the ad to confuse the viewer, and install a feeling of unresolve in order to drive viewership.

Jeweller

This speculative ad for the jeweller Layla Kaisi involved a more abstract approach, where I was showing off their “R” ring. I used a long series of match cuts here to transform a droplet, to a golden ring. The key theme of this piece was transformation, In hindsight, this concept would work better on a longer-form media channel, as it did not have an immediately captivating hook.

Fashion

I began this piece of content with a satirical criticism of fashion as the hook, in a common TikTok format.

The piece resolved this criticism by showing Working Style suits. This positioned the brand as superior, and highlighted the sameness and predictability of Gen Z streetwear. I thought it was interesting to target Gen Z with this format, almost in a self deprecating manner.

Florist

This was a real organic social media piece that far exceeded the florists usual viewership. This piece got 1000 views, on a page with only 200 followers, gaining 80% of that attention from an audience that did not originally follow the page. This piece showed off the florists seasonal blooms, and increased brand awareness in a highly competitive niche.
